Within this section "company" or "issuer" terms will be used for the companies, which signed agreement on registry keeping services with the Central Depository of Armenia.

Central Depository of Armenia services

CDA offers full range services to issuers of financial instruments, which includes:

1. Shareholders registry keeping

More information about shareholders registry keeping service and the process of its handing to the Depository is available in "How to become a CDA Customer?" section.

2. Security placement services, including:

• recording data issuers and securities issued (but not allocated yet),
• opening of a securities issuance account for issuers,
• entering the securities issued (but not allocated yet) to the account,
• transferring securities from the issuance account of the issuer to the personal accounts of holders.

3. Services related to company corporate actions, including amending issuer's registry records to reflect changes resulting from:

• division/separation of the company
• merger/acquisition of the company
• increasing company's charter capital due to increase of securities nominal value
• reducing company's charter capital due to decreased of securities nominal value
• division (split) of securities
• consolidation of securities
• conversion of one class of securities into another
• securities obtaining or buying back
• securities maturity
• as a result of the issuer’s corporate action, notifying to the registered owners (nominees) about the calculation of the fractional shares in their personal accounts,
• as a result of the issuer’s corporate action, providing a list of fractional shares’ registered owners (nominees) to the issuer.

In order to increase customer service efficiency, the Depository plans to introduce new services, 3 of which will be launched in 2011 (see Project, available in Armenian only).
